Controller
Mingenta LLC, operating as The Lighthouse Project, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Contact: office@the-lighthouse-project.com.
What we collect
Enquiries. Name, email, telephone if given, country, enquiry type and your message.
Bookings. Name, email, appointment time, time zone and anything you write in the booking form, processed through our scheduling provider.
Payments. Billing name, email, country and transaction details, processed by our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
Session records. Where a therapeutic, supervisory or mentoring relationship exists, we keep brief professional notes. These are kept separately, minimally and securely.
Technical data. Server logs such as IP address, browser and time of request, used for security and stability.
Why we may process it
To answer your enquiry and to prepare or perform our contract with you; to comply with legal, professional and tax record-keeping duties; and, on the basis of our legitimate interest, to keep this website secure. Health-related information is processed only where necessary for the provision of care or with your explicit consent.
Processors and transfers
We use carefully selected providers for scheduling, payment processing, email and hosting. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes described here. Because we are established in the State of Delaware, United States, data may be processed in the United States; where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Booking and payment records are kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law. Professional session notes are kept for the retention period required by applicable professional standards, then securely destroyed.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Write to office@the-lighthouse-project.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only what is necessary to display pages and to embed the scheduling and payment tools you choose to use. Those embedded tools may set their own cookies when loaded. We do not run advertising or profiling trackers.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to client information is limited to Janine Pereira de Almeida. Please do not send sensitive clinical details through web forms or email; a private conversation is a safer place for that.
